Hello, my name is Dr. John Morgan. I'm a mood disorder specialist at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, and I've been in practice as a movement specialist for the past 20 or so years. I'm glad you joined us today for the CME program, for the iQ&A Medical Intelligence Zone for Parkinson's disease, looking at how to treat Off patients with Parkinson's.

Today, we're going to talk about various methods to treat Off and patients with Parkinson's disease there are lots and lots of therapies that can be implemented for patients, and we'll talk about medications such as extended release carbidopa/levodopa. The new preparation called Dhivy, which is a fractionated form of carbidopa/levodopa that you can give patients that need tight control, and other methods to treat wearing off.
